What is the track like? Did you look at the euro setups for the RC8B?

Shane none of those setups is for "like Guardas track".

If someone has a link to Euros 2010 setups for AE please post it.

Every other brand has posted their setups apart from Losi and AE.

This is what I have been running this year as a base setup.

http://67.199.85.166/racing/setups/rc8b_th...lassic_2009.pdf

I did make the following changes, 30wt oil , #6 rear upper shock mount,
2 down antisquat and a black front bar when more steering is needed.

This setup calms down the oversteer quite a bit without giving up to much
steering or rotation.

You will need a set of silver front springs and Ghea 1.1x10 pistons.

Strange things happen with the setup sheet of Robert Batlle from the Euro 2010!
First the setup sheet http://www.buggy-sport.info/index.php?opti...4288&Itemid=109 was posted on the rc10.com website.
One day later they change the setup sheet to this http://67.199.85.166/racing/setups/rc8b_ba...champs_2010.pdf

It look's like the don't like it when Robert says their car is to heavy :-)
But that's the truth, that the RC8B is 400-500g overweight.
The first setup was a real "from racer for racer" setup sheet.
The second setup sheet is only "the have a nice world and all is OK".

Team Associated have a few absolut Top-Worldclass level driver, but the car is no more at that point. I hope they will bring out a new car for the world's.
Because the RC8B cost ~$500.- but to get him lighter (milled chassis, a lot of Titanium screws, etc.) you have to pay once again ~$300.- to have "nearly" the same car as a Cavalieri, Maifield, Cragg, Drescher, Batlle, ...).

At every race I see less Associated cars!

I do wish we would see more real racer set-ups and not the PC ones. There are things they do and no one knows unless you are the right circle of people. You know they are doing something different you just never know what it is.
